During a recent interview with KMLE’s Gunner & Cheyenne, Shaboozey revealed that he really wants to work with Noah Kahan at some point in the future. Based on the six-week stint at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for Shaboozey’s breakout hit, “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” the cross-genre music superstar might just have his pick of who he wants to work with next. “I’ve made a lot of friends just doing this and hopefully I’ll get to make records I love with people I love,” he said. “I’ve been on the road so much I haven’t even had a chance to get in the studio but I’m excited to make new music.” Shaboozey revealed that Kahan is currently his “dream collaborator,” even if his musical style doesn’t seem to be the perfect fit at first glance. “I know people don’t consider him country, but he’s super awesome,” Shaboozey said. “I love his writing and storytelling and just how vulnerable and emotional he is. I would love to do a song with him.” (Audacy)
