Margo Price Pairs Up With Billy Strings On “Too Stoned To Cry,” A New “Sad Ass Country Song”

Margo Price just released a new collaboration with Billy Strings called, “Too Stoned To Cry.” Price and Strings are both featured on vocals on the bluegrass-drenched duet, with their voices blending together perfectly on the aching chorus, “I ain’t happy, I’m just too stoned to cry.” Price was thrilled to work with Strings while praising his talents, “Billy has persevered a lot in his short life, and his story and dedication to the craft inspires me deeply.” While the track is just a stand-alone single, Price revealed that she is currently at work writing a follow-up to her 2023 album, Strays. “For those of you wondering, why just a single? Why not a full album announcement?
