Lil Baby Arrested In Las Vegas On Concealed Weapon Charge

Early Monday morning (August 26), Lil Baby was arrested in Las Vegas on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the rap star was processed at the Clark County Detention Center on the charge of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, which is a felony in Nevada. Based on videos shared on social media, Lil Baby was in town to celebrate James Harden’s birthday at a Las Vegas party on Sunday (August 25), along with other music superstars like Travis Scott and Chris Brown. Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was reportedly held on $5,000 bail. “

Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit,” Lil Baby’s attorney Drew Findling said in a statement. “On his behalf we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.” According to Georgia’s Department of Public Safety, Nevada does not recognize CCW permits from Georgia.
